Food is prepared at St. John on the first Wednesday of each month and delivered the first Thursday of every month. Volunteers prepare and deliver meals to those who are homeless and/or underemployed at Faith Mission. We prepare and deliver lunch on odd months and dinner on even months. Donating food items, preparing meals and delivering to those in need are all part of this community outreach. As we share a warm meal with others, we can see how God is using us to be an extension of His love in our community. Contact Cathy Fernandez for more information.
The collection of Mites that fund the LWML mission worldwide is just one part of a greater network of faithful women. The St. John Dublin Lutheran Women's Missionary League has an extensive outreach in the community with 6 service projects each year and meets every other month. Contact Beth Marth for more information.
Hundreds of "flood buckets" are donated for regional needs throughout the United States. Buckets are filled with supplies, and shipped to help those in need after a natural disaster. Contact Deaconess Dehlia for more information.
