Stephen Ministry

The Stephen Ministry is one-to-one lay caring ministry by trained caregivers called Stephen Ministers to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting or walking through one of life's many transitions.

Golden Treasure Meals

Senior members of St. John gather every second Friday of the month for fun, fellowship and a meal prepared by St. John Parish Care.

More Than Meals

The More Than Meals care team prepares and delivers meals to families after a hospitalization or in a time of need. New baby, job loss, or the suffering illness of a family member receive this special care.

Bereavement Care Team

After the loss of a loved one, the Bereavement Care Team facilitates the meal at church after the funeral, if the family wishes to have one.

Health Checks

A team of volunteer nurses serves the St. John body of members on the second Sunday of each month at 9:15 a.m. Medical treatment of any kind is not provided, however, blood pressure and glucose checks are recorded and tracked. These routine checks provide both validation of good health and may alert recipients to concerns. No appointment necessary.

Card Care Ministry

St. John Parish Care honors the birthdays and anniversaries of it's members each month.
